What is Self-Discovery Coaching?

I believe we are all on a journey to uncover and release the truest versions of ourselves, connecting to the freedom that rests at our core and releasing us from the chains of our identity mind, and allowing our spirit through into the world to do, be, create, express, inspire, love and live a life of joy. Self-Discovery Coaching acts as a support and a catalyst for this inner-growth and transformational work to take place.

How much time and effort is required?

Whichever package you choose there will be three hours of one to one coaching per month. On top of that it’s up to you how much work you want to put in, it’s recommended to keep a journal and begin a daily meditation practice, however both can be short and sweet. I will also provide you with in-between sessions tasks and/or worksheets. The people I’ve worked with who make the most progress are the ones who put in the time and effort to work on themselves each and every day.

Who is the 'Find Your Freedom' program for?

The program is for you if you feel like there’s more to life than what you’re currently facing, or maybe you feel stuck or little lost on your journey, or you might be experiencing a sense of self-sabotage whilst striving towards your goals and dreams.  

I'm not spiritual or religious - is this for me?

I bring in aspects and wisdom from many areas, including science, spirituality, religion and philosophy. This program is for anyone who feels they have enough of an open mind to engage in a program that will test them, push their boundaries and break down any beliefs that no longer serve them to make room for the core truth of who they are to emerge.

Why choose this program instead of standard therapy or coaching?

I myself am a therapist and a coach, and working with clients from both sectors has inspired me to create something that provides the best of both worlds. ‘Find Your Freedom’ allows you the time and space to explore your mind, connect the dots between your past and present, as well as using your new awareness and clarity over who you are to design and start moving towards your intentions and goals more easily than ever before. 

When does it start / finish?

Whichever program you choose to engage in the start date will usually fall at the beginning of each month, this will be confirmed upon acceptance of your application. Your one to one support and coaching will end with myself once the 90, 180 or 360 day program is complete.

Will the sessions be online or face to face?

Currently, all sessions take place online via video meetings. I currently use Zoom as this seems to provide the best quality and security for what is required.

Why is self-awareness important to develop?

Self-Awareness is a big part of self-discovery as it is the ability to see yourself clearly and objectively through reflection and introspection. By taking this step back you can begin to become a creator of your own experience, modifying patterns in the mind through conscious action and thought, letting go of the struggle and developing new perspectives to help you become more aligned with who you really are.

Will it hurt / be painful?

Any form of growth in it’s essence requires you to let go of something old and move into something new, whether that be a new way of thinking, doing or feeling. The mind will almost always put up a fight as that old pattern doesn’t want to change, it sees it as painful and death to itself. Developing your self-awareness will help you to recognize the resistance as it arises, this will help you to move into a place of acceptance, allowing you to let go and release into your new way a lot easier.

What impact will this have on my life?

The clue is in the title, freedom is our intention here. This will come in varying degrees depending on where you currently are on your journey, what is needed and what your intentions are for our sessions together, and of course how much work you put in and how much you want to make the change. Everyone is different however the aim here is for you to develop your self-awareness and take away new tools for you to continue to do so, heal any past wounds that are coming up for you and put you on a path towards discovering your possible and realizing your potential.

How long before I notice any changes?

Change is a constant so this will be going on already, even whilst reading through this site. Our first sessions are about creating self-awareness, connecting the dots between your past and your present, so it’s highly likely you will notice insights arising straight away. 

What will I need?

A pen and a notebook and/or a journal – to note down any insights you have in or out of session, and to use to explore your mind and engage with any tasks we set. I will provide you with worksheets so a printer would be useful to print these out, but not essential.
